Full rehabilitation of 45 scattered rowhouses for homeownership in some of East Baltimore's most deteriorated neighborhoods.  ArchPlan services included existing conditions documentation, full construction documents and construction administration.
Southwest Vision
Baltimore, MD
SWVisElev.jpg (160215 bytes) Renovation of a vacant rowhouse in South West Baltimore (SOWEBO).  The client is a non-profit organization that develops housing in the area by renovating vacant rowhouses.  The existing building was originally divided into three rental units.  The program included redesigning the building to include two larger units.  Services included initial site investigation and concept plans, design development drawings, construction documents and construction administration.

Full rehabilitation of over 120 scattered rowhouses for homeownership or rental in one of Baltimore’s most deteriorated neighborhoods. The project is part of "the Sandtown 600" effort to recycle 600 vacant and dilapidated rowhouses. ArchPlan services include existing conditions documentation and full construction documents.

Renovation of 280 apartment units, the building exterior and the public spaces of the historic Eutaw Place high rise building in historic Bolton Hill. Design, construction documents and construction administration.

Samester Park Apartments
Eutaw Place, Baltimore, MD
Rehabilitation of 74 apartments in two large three story buildings on Park Heights Avenue. The apartment complex represents a unique example of Art Deco design.  The project uses historic preservation tax credits and HUD funds and received a Baltimore Heritage Preservation Award.

The Koppers Site
Baltimore, MD
140 new rowhouse units for homeownership on a former industrial site near downtown Baltimore. The development plan was part of a developer’s proposal requested by the City of Baltimore. The plans won the 1994 Baltimore AIA award for design excellence.
Harbor Point
Baltimore, MD
revita3.gif (14312 bytes) Development of a Planned Unit Development Plan (PUD) for the 27 acre peninsula of the former Allied Signal industrial site at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore. The PUD allows for up to 1.8 million acres of mixed-use development partially on top of a remediation cap constructed to contain hazardous materials in the ground.
Liberty Road Corridor Revitalization
Baltimore County, MD

ArchPlan designed the streetscape along two portions of Liberty Road. The project included the redesign of shopping center and commercial strip parking, new and realigned sidewalks, bus stops, landscaping, lighting and amenities.
