ArchPlan's master plan for Phoenixville, Pennsylvania was highlighted in the Winter 2005 issue of Multi-Family Trends, a publication of the Urban Land Institute. The article, entitled "The Match Game: Bringing Together Affordable Housing and Transit Villages", cited Phoenixville as one of several projects which is successful in linking transit and land use. ArchPlan's master plan for Phoenixville is centered on a station for the proposed Schuylkill Valley Metro, with connections to Philadelphia, and all parts of the project are within easy walking distance of the station. Commercial, retail, and corporate apartments join residential townhouses, which have proved so popular that "hundreds of people camped out in near-freezing temperatures for an opportunity to purchase the units".
